When your days on Earth are done, you will spend eternity in heaven or hell – there is no other
choice. A lot of people have the idea that when they die, God will let them into heaven because
they are basically a good person, or because they’ve done more good deeds than bad deeds, or
maybe they think it’s because they go to church or because they’ve been baptized. Many think that
because “God is love” He couldn’t possibly send someone to hell. None of these things will let you
into Heaven. The Truth is, you have to be perfect to go to Heaven. And there’s never been anyone
perfect, except Jesus Christ. About 2000 years ago, He left Heaven to become a man on Earth. He
was tortured and then died on a cross. His death was the perfect sacrifice that paid for all of
mankind’s sins. He was buried, and He rose from the dead three days later, and now is in Heaven,
seated at the right hand of the Father. If we are willing to repent of our sins (turn from them) and
accept His gift of salvation – if we believe He is Who He says He is (God the Saviour), then we will
be clothed with His righteousness, and so through His perfection, we will gain entrance to Heaven.
Please do this, and let Jesus Christ be Lord (the boss) of your life. Read His Word (King James Bible)
daily, and try to find a Bible-believing church to attend regularly*.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

*Finding a Bible-believing church in these last of the last days may be impossible especially in certain regions, because of the great falling away (2 Thess. 2:3) that we are witnessing. Baptist churches historically have been the ones with the correct doctrine, but this has changed and many are now Calvinistic, or, if they do still have a good doctrinal statement, the lifestyle does not match it. We’ve heard that in churches of the Southern Baptist Convention, many members, and even pastors, are Freemasons! The Baptist denominations are still your best possibility of a good church. Do not join cults such as Seventh Day Adventist, Roman Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, Mennonite, Amish, Christian Science, etc. If you can’t find a good established church with right doctrine, and right practice, all I can recommend is trying to find as many true Bible believers as you can and at least assemble yourselves regularly, even perhaps start a church. Remember, a church is not a building, but a group of people called out of worldly living, who believe in and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
